在規定條件下，勵磁系統輸出電壓達到頂值電壓與額定勵磁電壓之差的95% 所需時間的秒數(見圖1)。
4.13 高起始響應勵磁系統 high initial response excitation system
勵磁系統電壓響應時間小于或等于0.1s的勵磁系統。
4.14 勵磁系統電壓-時間響應 excitation system voltage time response
在規定條件下，用時間的函數來表示的勵磁系統輸出電壓。
4.15 勵磁系統電壓響應比 excitation system nominal response
由勵磁系統電壓響應曲線確定的勵磁系統輸出電壓增長率與額定勵磁電壓的 比值。
