　　Abstract: Yuegou garnet deposit is one of few garnet deposits which have been exploited regularly in Hebei province.It is region metamorphic deposit.Its ore body appearance is simple,attitude is steady and reserve is great.It ~.s easy to mine and extract.One more garnet deposit is supplied to the local and worth exploiting further.

　　石榴石作為鋁硅酸鹽礦物，在自然界中有多種類質同象系列礦物。特別是鐵鋁榴石，硬度大、熔點高、化學性質穩定、抗腐蝕性強，被廣泛用于研磨光學儀器、電子元件、玻璃和陶瓷制品，拋光軟金屬制作的零件，清潔機械運輸設備表面的油污，磨削打光木器家具、橡膠、皮革、塑料等產品，還用于建筑機場跑道、高速公路防滑路面和制造高鐵水泥及噴砂、過濾等行業。岳溝石榴石礦床為區域變質石榴石礦床，礦體形態簡單、產狀穩定、資源量大、易采、易選，為當地提供了又一個石榴石礦產地并具有進一步地質工作的價值。
